Last year when I was preggers I often checked up on this blog to see how Karen was going with her adoption of a baby girl from China. I haven't read her blog for a while, and checked up on it today to find some good news. Karen has finally got some photos and is going to collect her daughter at the start of September. She looks like the most gorgeous, happy little thing and Karen is clearly beside herself with excitement and happiness. Maybe it's lack of sleep but I found myself getting, well, a little teary reading it. It's that fulfillment of a yearning thing, I think.
