There have been many symptoms of late that would lead most mothers to utter 'teething' in an authoritative tone. Flushed cheeks. Loose stools. General grumpiness and constant grizzling. But of course I already have all my teeth. Har di har.
It would be nice to ascribe this assortment of ailments to one particular cause, but I just can't seem to believe in teething, try as I might. I wonder if every time I say 'I don't believe in teething' a tooth fairy dies? Possibly. Last night was possibly the worst we've had since Maddles got gastro at five months while I was away with the Frontier Librarians. And today I feel jetlagged, but without the sense of having arrived in an exciting new destination. No, I'm still in deep, dark Grizzle-land. And my refusal to believe in teething leads me to the inevitable question: If this isn't teething, then what on earth is it? And how long will it last?
Still, the day hasn't been completely without achievement. I visited a friend and executed my best parallel park yet since the Ford Focus came into our lives. And Maddles is now asleep and here I am blogging! Who would've thought it! At four pm!
Sara fanelli. I love her. I love her limited edition, 240-pounds-for-a-small-one prints. Her website is disappointly crap, however. But she's probably too busy scouring through cool, retro magazines and writing in beautiful, scrawly text to bother with such things. I'd be happy to make one for her. Perhaps in exchange for one or two of the prints. The larger ones.
I also love print & pattern which I found via Aunty Cookie. How could you not love a blog where the blogger posts diffent patterns everyday? It is so soothing.
