I was sent ten advance copies of my kids' book on Friday. I've given a couple out already (because the idea of having all ten sitting on my shelf at home is somewhat alarming). I gave one to my mother, who immediately found a grammatical error until I told her that I would have to take it back if she continued in that vein. Not that she can help it - it's the English teacher coming out in her.
Today the librarian side of her emerged and she sent me these: ISBN: 1921098368 Dewey Number: A823.4
I can't believe I actually have a dewey decimal number all of my own. It's something every young girl dreams of, but never truly believes will happen to her.
